In default Blogger templates, in your Label list, you can see the counter (number) beside each label. If you would like to get rid of this, read on. It takes a minute....
Ok. Let's remove them. Before you do anything Back up your template.Go to:
DASHBOARD ► LAYOUT ► EDIT HTML ► click on EXPAND WIDGET TEMPLATES in the upper right corner:

You have to find the following line of code:
(<data:label.count/>)
Delete it. Save the Template. View your Blog. Ta-dam!

i can't apply it to my blog. there isn;t data:label.count so i can not delete ots number. and please tell me how to make my posting lil bit move right. griyatechno.blogspot.com
well, you have a template converted from Wordpress. That means, it's quite customized.
It's better to contact the designer of the template.
I can't guess... Try again. Be sure you've checked "Expand widget templates" when finding the line in code...
And for moving your post section, I would suggest to change this line:
.post {margin:10px 0 20px 0;}
into this:
.post {margin:10px -10px 20px 0;}
Contact me if this ain't working...we'll fix it somehow.

tnx :D
Yes! Thank you.
What do I look for to do the same under my "archives" heading? I looked for data:archive.count but couldn't find anything.
Hey Anna...
It' possible. LAYOUT ► EDIT HTML ► paste this part of code:
.post-count {
display:none;
}
...just BEFORE this part:
</b:skin>

So it will look like this, all together:
.post-count {
display:none;
}
</b:skin>

Smile!
Done, thanks!
Do you know how can I move the label under each post (now is under the title)?
Hi Pip!
Of course. LAYOUT ► EDIT HTML ► click on Expand widget templates in the upper right corner. Find the label code:

<b:if cond='data:post.labels'>
<data:postLabelsLabel/>
<b:loop values='data:post.labels' var='label'>
<data:label.name/><b:if cond='data:label.isLast != "true"'>,</b:if>
</b:loop>
</b:if>

...CUT it, and paste UNDER this line:

can you tell me how to get rid of the 'labels' coding altogether, and not just the number count??
Rain,
you don't have to get rid of it, just hide it...
Remove the Gadget named LABELS from Page Elements, and in Post options, remove the tick in the Labels box (in the Post footer part).
hye, would u like to help on how to remove the counter (number) of the comments?
