Here's one more thing which folks find irritating. Or unnecessary. When you click on one of your labels, blogger filters your posts tagged with that particular label. That's great, but we don't need a big box saying the same thing. If you like it though, even better. But maybe your readers don't...
So, if you want to remove it, follow me. It's an easy one.
Log in to your Blogger account, Back-up your template, then go to:
DASHBOARD -- LAYOUT -- EDIT HTML -- hit EXPAND WIDGET TEMPLATES, find the following part of code:
<b:includable id='status-message'>
<b:if cond='data:navMessage'>
<div class='status-msg-wrap'>
<div class='status-msg-body'>
<data:navMessage/>
</div>
<div class='status-msg-border'>
<div class='status-msg-bg'>
<div class='status-msg-hidden'><data:navMessage/></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div style='clear: both;'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
<b:if cond='data:navMessage'>
<div class='status-msg-wrap'>
<div class='status-msg-body'>
<data:navMessage/>
</div>
<div class='status-msg-border'>
<div class='status-msg-bg'>
<div class='status-msg-hidden'><data:navMessage/></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div style='clear: both;'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
Delete the code from above and replace it with this one:
<b:includable id='status-message'>
<b:if cond='data:navMessage'>
<div>
</div>
<div style='clear: both;'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
<b:if cond='data:navMessage'>
<div>
</div>
<div style='clear: both;'/>
</b:if>
</b:includable>
Save the template. View your blog and click on some label....no more box.
Smile!

I tried your above example. It removed the label but it also made the links unclickable. What did I do wrong?
By the way, love the help you offer. Best on the web and easiest to use!
Well, if you've did it exactly like the instructions above, it should work...
I've did this dozens of time. Never a problem.
Can you specify it a bit more?
Smile!
hi, i tried to do it the same way as its instructed but unfortunately it didn't work...tried it many times
Are you sure? I've just visited your site, and clicking on a Label, the box doesn't appear.
You've managed?

thank you!
it was a success! ;D
Thanks!
done from the first try
thanks alot! =D
Thank you - success! I think the people that were having problems tried it after hitting preview instead of saving and then viewing blog. If you do it that way, you'll be fooled into thinking it didn't work but it does.
Thanks! Works awesome!
This works like a charm,thanks a lot!
It doesn't work for me. I don't know why, a lot of your tutorials don't work for me because somehow I don't have that part of the code in my template.
What can I do?
Thank you friends. can copy his article?
You're a genius just plain and simple. Thank you so much. That thing is ugly and now it's gone...lovely!
Sweet - thanks! You may want to mention in your primary instructions that "Preview" gives an error message... i.e. the only way to know for sure this works is to save and view the live blog - yet another reason to DOWNLOAD your template before editing HTML. Great code, thanks again!
This is so great! Thank you!
I have a classic template and it does not work for me. advice??!!!!!!!
Thanks, just what I needed! I just love it that people like you share your knowledge!

Do you know how to remove the 'next blog follow bar at the top of the page? If you do ...then you are a champion!
It works great , Thanks a lot !!
So easy, awesome!;)
Thanks for the info mate. Works perfectly.
Thanks. It worked. Unfortunately, when you click on one of my categories, the first article doesn't exactly line up with my profile, but I'm just glad it's gone. Every time you clicked on that dumb banner, nothing was there.
Huzzah! Worked perfectly on my first try. I've always been so annoyed by that stupid little box! A million thanks!
is there a way to customize it to say something like "Reading "
why i don't have that code in my template? pleassee.. or.. you using classic template?
thanks! <3
It work fine to me.. thanks :)
worked perfectly.
It works. Thank you.
Is it possible to replace with an image? or renaming "Showing post with label...show all posts"...Actually if possible i want to remove " Show all posts"
any hint about customizing the content? eg replacing the 'showing post' with 'other text...', or keeping only the label name - etc?
I just started blogging and I tried your tip. It works well but I still cant get rid of that white space between my page bar and the first post...
